Not sure of the year of your pump? Here is how to find the correct kit for your Northstar. The easiest way to tell is by the lid O-ring or T-gasket installed in the lid. Prior to 2003, the lid O-ring is 3/16” thick, 2003 through 2007 has a T-Gasket, flat with little grooves when looking at the lid, 2008 and later, the O-ring is a 1/4” thick. You can also call Hayward with the serial number if it is legible. (908) 355-7995.
